German Car Service in Nairobi: Your Questions Answered

The questions Kenyan BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, Volvo and Land Rover owners ask us most. If yours isn't here, call us on +254 746 004 903 or +254 727 996 887 and we'll answer it directly.

About the workshop

BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Mini and Volvo. We keep dedicated specialists and brand-specific tooling for each marque rather than treating them all as generic European cars.

We're based on Lagiri Road, Nairobi. We regularly serve owners across Karen, Westlands, Runda, Lavington, Gigiri, Muthaiga, Kilimani and Parklands, and the compound is guarded 24/7 while your car is with us.

We're open Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. Drop-offs are easiest first thing in the morning if you need the car back the same day.

Yes. Complimentary pickup and delivery is available across Nairobi. Let us know your area when you book and we'll arrange collection at a time that suits you.

Parts, warranty and service records

We source genuine OEM parts directly from Germany and established European suppliers, and we keep common wear items in stock in Nairobi for same-day fitting. We're transparent about where every part comes from, and we'll tell you when a quality alternative makes sense for your budget.

No. Our factory-level procedures, genuine parts and certified technicians are designed to keep you warranty-compliant, and we issue detailed service records — digital service booklet entries, parts invoices and clear work descriptions — in the format manufacturers expect. If you ever need to make a claim, we'll guide you through the process and coordinate with the brand's Kenyan representative where needed.

Every job carries a warranty, and the length depends on the work. As a guide: AC repairs and paintless dent removal carry 1 year, body repairs carry 3 years, and engine overhauls carry 3 years or 60,000 km. If something covered goes wrong, we tow the vehicle back free within the Nairobi radius and re-repair at no cost. Exact terms are confirmed in writing on your quotation.

Diagnostics and repairs

We start with manufacturer-level diagnostics and then follow guided fault-finding using wiring diagrams and component testing — not part swapping. We run ISTA for BMW, XENTRY for Mercedes-Benz, PIWIS for Porsche, ODIS for Audi and Volkswagen, and VIDA for Volvo. Around 80% of electrical faults are resolved the same day.

Yes. We inspect first, then give you a written quotation with options, clear timelines and transparent pricing — typically within 2 hours of inspection. Nothing is carried out until you approve the figure, and we come back to you before doing any additional work found along the way.

Routine servicing and most wear-item replacements are same-day jobs. Diagnostics-led repairs, gearbox work, engine overhauls and bodywork take longer because parts and paint curing dictate the schedule. You'll get a realistic timeline with your quotation, and we keep you updated if anything changes.

Yes. We continuously update our tooling and training, and we're equipped for high-voltage systems on hybrids and EVs (BMW i, Mercedes EQ, Porsche Taycan), ADAS calibration, and current-generation models from 2020 onwards.

Absolutely. From the Mercedes W123 to classic Porsche 911s, we combine traditional mechanical craftsmanship with modern diagnostic capability for restoration and recommissioning work.

Booking and payment

Call or WhatsApp us on +254 746 004 903, email info@eurolinegarage.co.ke, or use the booking form. If you have a warning light or a noise, sending a photo or short video over WhatsApp ahead of time helps us prepare before your car arrives.

For major repairs over KES 100,000 we offer 3 to 6 month payment plans, including an interest-free three-payment option. Talk to us when you approve the quotation and we'll set the schedule up with you.

Yes. We handle assessment documentation and liaise with insurers on accident repairs. See our insurance claims assistance page, or call us and we'll talk you through the process for your policy.

For short jobs such as diagnostics, an oil service or a wheel alignment you're welcome to wait on site. For longer work, most clients prefer our complimentary pickup and delivery so they don't lose the day. Let us know which you'd like when booking.

Still have a question?

Talk to a technician rather than a call centre. We'll tell you honestly whether your car needs to come in.
